The Board of Perry Township Trustees met in Regular Session on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the East Liberty Community Room. Roll Call: John Brose, present, John Baughman, present, Terry Cook, present and Cindy Stalling, present. Also present was Larry Wellington, Bonnie Brose, Doug Mercer, Linda Baldridge, Dan Coats, Justin Taylor, Kyle Richards, and Mike Carl.

The minutes of the previous meeting was given to the Trustees to read prior to this meeting. Mr. Brose asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes and then asked if there were any additions or corrections to the financial statements that were given to the Trustees from the fiscal officer. The both stand approved by the Trustees.
Mr. Brose asked about the audit, if they found anything. They found that Mrs. Stalling should of made the General Find- Assigned when she was classifying the funds. Instead she had it as unclassified. Also for the year of 2017, Mrs. Stalling underpaid Mr. Brose and herself. The auditor said to go ahead and pay us the difference now. So, Mr. Brose gets $648.04 and Mrs. Stalling gets $1,114.16, this will reflect on our pay this month. Mrs. Stalling did not pay this difference because as long as she has been clerk you were never allowed to get a raise in term. But, this has changed now, so that is why Mrs. Stalling did not pay these differences.
Mr. Brose brought up about when we were going to open the park and when will be having dumpster day?? After some discussion it was agreed to open the park on April 15 and Spring Dumpster Day will be May 11.Cindy will advertise the dumpster day and also put signs up in town.
Mr. Doug Mercer reported that there will be a Crime Watch meeting on this Thursday at the Community Room.
Mr. Dan Coats reported that the new fire truck is here. There is a few things that need fixed, Sutphen will be coming here to fix the problems.
The murphy bed is here and installed.
Fire Chief is sick.
Sutphen will take the Rescue when they come to fix the stuff on the new truck.
Mr. Terry Cook reported that they have trimmed the brush on the roads.
Mr. John Baughman reported that they have worked on the ball diamond, we got them some more sand for the diamond. Also, they have put up the batting cage.
Mr. John Brose reported that he has talked to Republic (trash people) and we are to be charged $75.00 per month for the trash, not including the polycarts, per month for 3 years.
Trustees signed the audit papers. They are okay with not having a meeting with the auditor. They will just get paperwork on the audit.
Mr. Brose reminded that the foundation base orders are to be in by May 1st., to have the bases ready by Memorial Day.
Zoning Inspector, Mr. Dan Ackley gave paperwork to the fiscal officer on the West Mansfield Conservation Club. They are going to have Trap Shoots on May 19, June 16, July 21 and August 18. They will be changing the direction that they will be shooting, they will be shooting towards East Liberty.
Cemetery Clean-up is done.
Fire Department wrote up a new bunker gear contract for new employees.
Mrs. Stalling brought up about Ralph Hall’s (Cemetery mower) pay. He is to be paid $600.00 per mowing. But he wants to be on salary at $1,000.00 per month. So, we will pay him $1,000.00 per month from April – December and then we will see how many mowings he has done compared to how much he has already been paid. We will make up the difference for the months of Jan-March.
