The purpose of this meeting is our Year-end meeting.

All stood and said the Pledge of Alligence.

Fire Chief, Mr. Doug Henry, gave an update on the Stryker Power Cot.  The cot costs, $44,636.58 and installation would be $1,600.00for a total of $46,236.50.  After some discussion, matter was tabled by Mr. Brose until next meeting.  Mr Brose went over the financial figures in the fire fund.  He doesn’t want to dip into the carry over, he would like to not spend more in the fund than what we receive in the fund.

Chief reported that Mr. Kyle Brugler would like to go to Fire Officer 2 class at Bowling Green in May.  The class costs $565.00 plus rooming.  There is still some time in case any other firefighter would like to attend this class also.  Chief stated that this is just an FYI for the Trustees.

Chief attended the Logan County Fireman’s Association, each dept got some radios.  Chief reported that we got 6 MARC radios but they do need batteries. Chief said we should be good on radios now.

Mrs. Bonnie Brose reported that she has gotten a call from a Perry Township resident who wants to use the Community Room once a week to hold narcotics anonymous meetings.  Bonnie said that the only day that the room would be available really would be on Friday.  Bonnie doesn’t want to tie up the room every week, as the room is really busy.  Mr. Brose has called the Logan County Prosecutor to see if we legally tell her no as it is a non-profit organization.   Mr. Brose has done some research and there is meetings in Bellefontaine and Marysville both that are in churches. Mr. Brose feels like it may be discrimination if we tell her no.  After more discussion, Trustees told Bonnie to tell her that we are doing research and will let her know.  Maybe it would be better if they only wanted to use the room once a month, not every week.

Mr. John Baughman reported that he called the concrete guy to get an estimate on the repairs for the tombstones in his cemetery that got knocked down from the tree blowing over.

Mrs. Stalling brought up about getting members for the VFFDF for 2020.  Mr. Brose made motion that the members for the Legislative Authority be John Baughman and Terry Cook, the members from the Fire Dept. would be Sandy Wilcox and Dean Moore and the other member would be Doug Henry, seconded by Mr. Baughman.  Brose, yes, Cook, yes and Baughman, yes.  The Chairperson will be Mr. Baughman and the Secretary will be Mr. Terry Cook.
