.     Mr. Jason Epp appreciated the recent Dumpster Day we had for the residents of Perry Township.

Fire Chief, Doug Henry, reported that the Fire Dept. has hired 5 new people.  Btittani Carl, Dan Trout, Jason Epp, Bryon Daum and Chad Coutts.  Mr. Epp use to be a FF/EMT, he has let his cards expire and wants to get back into this employment.  He will be taking fire school and EMT training again.  The Dept would like to have him come on board now to get familiar with everything so when he gets his cards, he will already be ready to go.  Trustees are ok with this, they want him to sign a waiver, that the Township is not liable if he gets hurt before he gets his cards. But, we do need to get him on BWC now.

We need to gear for Chad Coutts, Bryon Daum, and Brittani Carl.  Brittani is a Medic, Chad has to pass his EMT test, he is done with the class.

Chief asked Mr. Baughman if he could get a couple junk cars for training at the fire house.  Mr. Baughman said he could, but he would get them after Memorial Day.

Mr. Chuck Boudrow stated on behalf of the Mason’s he wanted to thank the Township for everything we do for them.  The breakfast was a success, and he said that anytime they have a meal, the fire dept can come and eat for free.

Mr. Brose asked Mr. Boudrow if any of the Mason’s would like to help put the flags out at the cemetery for Memorial Day?  Mr. Boudrow said yes, they just need to figure out who is going to do it

Mr. Dan Ackley, zoning inspector, gave a zoning report.  He took information on the Shooting Range at the West Mansfield Conservation Club to every Zoning Appeals Board member.  Every member was ok and happy with letting them have their Trap Shoots, since they will be having training before hand.

Mr. Ackley reported on the man on C.R 154, he stated that this gentleman has been turned into the Logan County Health Dept., and was told that he could not live there by the LCHD.  He has brought in a camper and people think he is living in it.  There is no restroom facilities there.  Therefore he can not live there.  He has brought in a lot of timber posts and is starting to build something there.  No one can catch him there.

Mr. Baughman reported that they have several foundations to do and he has 2 funerals in his cemetery the next 2 Fridays.

Mr. Terry Cook reported that we used 5-30 yds dumpsters and 2-20 yd. dumpsters on Dumpster day.   There as a BIG mix-up with Republic, so we had to go through Rumpke Trash, and they had to have $2,800.00, up front before they would bring any dumpsters.  So we rallied together and used our credit cards to pay this amount.

The water tests for the Horse trough and the Concession stand at the Park, both came back OK.

The State has released our Audit for 2017-2018.

Mr. Brose brought up that he would like to crack-fill the cemeteries this summer.

Mr. Brose reported that Mr. Kurt Penhorwood would be doing our mosquito fogging again this summer.  We already have the chemicals.

Mr. Boudrow reported that the Masons will be at Perry Park on June 8, the State Grand Marshall will be here too.  There will also be WWII caliber machine gun on display there too.
